Our healthcare team is led by Claire Cordeaux, Executive Director of Health and Social Care, alongside Brittany Hagedorn - a Process Improvement Consultant and Six Sigma Black Belt. Brittany chiefly manages operations across North America. The healthcare simulation team has a wealth of knowledge and experience in health and social care, working with organizations such as Geisinger Health System, John Hopkins Hospital and the UK NHS on process improvement projects. Claire Cordeaux
Executive Director of Health and Social Care

Claire is the global lead for health and social care at SIMUL8 Corporation. With a background in NHS and Social Services, she is passionate about promoting and supporting the use of simulation and modelling to drive improvement through evidence-based decision-making . Having begun her career as a youth and community worker over 30 years ago, Claire has worked in local government and the UK NHS, covering early years and children’s services, workforce development, health strategy, and research and innovation at national, regional and local levels. In addition to a language degree, Claire holds a Masters in Research and Postgraduate Diplomas in Management and Youth and Community work. Claire was one of the original inventors of the Scenario Generator simulation software while in the UK NHS, developing the software in response to the needs of strategic planning in health. She moved to SIMUL8 Corporation to lead the healthcare team 7 years ago when the NHS granted SIMUL8 a commercial license for Scenario Generator which has now been sold worldwide. Over this period, SIMUL8 Corporation has grown its team significantly to meet demand and healthcare now forms a significant proportion of the company’s work. Claire and the team have supported thousands of healthcare clients worldwide to develop their simulation skills and use SIMUL8 software to improve healthcare services and patient outcomes as well as providing simulation solutions direct to clients. Brittany Hagedorn
Process Improvement Consultant & Six Sigma Black Belt

Brittany Hagedorn, LEED AP, CSSBB, has a wealth of experience across health and social care, along with healthcare facility planning. Her background includes Lean/Six Sigma and project management, strategic planning and integration, business development, patient safety and clinical quality, and operations and supply management. Brittany first learned of SIMUL8 as a user, while working as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for a hospital system. There, she used simulation as a tool to rapidly evaluate potential process changes, support operational improvement initiatives, and visually engage stakeholders. Now she enjoys working with the rest of the SIMUL8 team to speed the adoption of simulation throughout healthcare, train and support SIMUL8 users, and develop innovative simulation-based tools.
